Payments are handled via our secure payment gateway partner, Braintree Payments. Braintree Payments is a PayPal company and PCI compliant.

Braintree Payments accepts most major credit cards. PayPal payments and wallet payments, such as Apple Pay, Amazon Pay are also accepted.

Once you submit your order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. If you need an additional or replacement copy of the receipt, we can send another one via e-mail. Please reach out to our Support Team.

As required by law, applicable sales tax is charged on all purchases, except for states that don't have sales tax.

To qualify for a price match, the competitor’s product must be the exact same product with the same brand, item number, pattern, material, size, shape and color as the one we offer for sale.

We will not match prices on competitor’s products that are factory seconds, off-quality, clearance or closeout items. Boutique Rugs reserves the right to verify the item’s identity and competitor’s advertised price before honoring a price match. We also hold the right to reject any price match request that we determine does not meet our policy conditions.

We do not honor:

Misprinted or typographic errors in the ads of other retailers

Going-out-of-business or closeout prices

Items advertised with a percentage discount instead of an actual price

Prices that are reduced through a rebate or gift card promotion

Prices based on membership in a preferred pricing or discount program

BOGO or free-with-purchase prices

The images we display have the most accurate color possible. Due to monitor/screen settings, there will be variations in color between the actual product and the photos on our site.

In some cases, patterns, colors, and other design elements may vary. Default room scene photos taken in our studio feature 5'x7’ rugs. For more product images, please refer to the “Customer Photos” section on product pages.

We carefully follow all online industry standards for customer security and privacy.

Coupons, discount codes, and deals do not apply to rug pads, including clearance items, special collections, warranties, gift cards, and cleaning products, unless stated otherwise.

Offers cannot be combined with any other promotions or offers.

Please acknowledge that if the shipping address was entered incorrectly during checkout, Boutique Rugs will not be responsible for any reimbursement. We strongly advise checking all shipping information before submitting your order to ensure all the information is accurate.

If you notice an error after placing your order, please reach out to our support team as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee any changes once your order has been submitted.

Lengths and widths may vary from the published dimensions. We do our best to provide you with an accurate measurement, but please be advised that some variation exists and this is not a manufacturing defect. The dimensions may vary up to 4% due to the manufacturing and rolling-up processes, this happens throughout the industry. Should you think that there is an extraordinary difference between the size of the rug you received and the expected size please reach out to our Customer Service.

If you are interested in exchanging any of your items, we would kindly ask that you place a new order for the desired item. As we do not have a direct exchange program, this is the easiest way to exchange your items as of now. You would need to return the undesired item back to us to receive a refund on that order. None of our rugs have rubber backings that prevent them from slipping. We kindly recommend purchasing a rug pad for your rug. A rug pad will not only prevent your rug from slipping, but it will also extend the lifespan of your rug and make it feel softer. You can safely purchase any of our rug pads if you have pets. Our pads are safe for animals. We recommend buying rug pads that are a little bigger than the rug itself. The parts that can be seen out of the rug can be trimmed gently to fit the size correctly. Our rug pads have different thicknesses. If you are looking for a thick, natural and stain resistant rug pad that provides extra cushioning under the rug, we recommend our Felted Rug Pad which is 0.22" thick. Our Bavaria Rug Pad is 0.06" thick and Luxury Grip Rug Pad is 0.16" thick.

Our rug pads are not machine washable.

You can use your rug pads outside. Please acknowledge that using the rug pads outside may shorten the expected life of the item.

We recommend our Felted Rug Pad if you prefer a natural and stain-proof rug pad which provides an extra cushion under the rug. If you want a stronger grip, we recommend our Luxury Grip Rug Pad. If you bought a thin rug, we recommend our Bavaria Rug Pad. Luxury and Bavaria Rug Pads are made of PVC.

They are produced in accordance with American textile rules and they do not have any harmful effects on human health.

FELTED RUG PAD: It is a 100% Felt product. It is natural. Compared to other pads, it provides softness when laid under the carpet. It is produced in the USA.

BAVARIA RUG PAD: It is a 100% PVC product. It is not natural, but does not contain harmful chemicals. This is the thinnest pad on our site. It is good at preventing slipping like other pads. It is produced in China.

LUXURY GRIP RUG PAD: It is a 100% PVC product. It is not natural, but does not contain harmful chemicals. It has almost the same features as Bavaria, this pad is a little thicker.

Our felted rug pads are 100% felt and they have rubber underneath.

It should be used by rotating the pad every 3 months.

We do not use flame retardants on our natural products, namely on our cotton and wool rugs. Our cotton, wool, and jute rugs are naturally fire-resistant. A wool rug will not cause a fire when burned, its threads will slightly burn but eventually, it will extinguish itself. Burned threads can be fixed by trimming gently and brushing.

We do not recommend carpet tape. If you would like to prevent your rug from slipping on the ground and to look flawless without any waves, we recommend purchasing our rug pads, such as the Luxury Grip Pad or the Bavaria Rug Pad, both of which provide a stronger grip.

Our washable area rugs are relatively thinner. We recommend using rug pads to prevent them from slipping and to give them a softer feeling.

We do not provide samples of rugs.

Our rugs do not have any rubber backing material. Generally, the back part of our rugs are the places where the yarns are connected to each other. Whatever the material of the rug is, it is the same material under the rug.

Our rugs can be used on vinyl floors.

Our rugs are produced from chemical substances that are not harmful to humans or animals.

We recommend our machine washable rugs. We also recommend a rug pad underneath to prevent slipping.

Our outdoor rugs are more resistant to water and sun than other rugs. When a rug is constantly exposed to external factors, this may affect the lifespan of the rug. If the complaint is mold, moss, stain etc, we recommend pouring dish detergent on the mentioned areas and rubbing the area with the help of a sponge or cloth then wipe over with a clean wet cloth. It is also important to dry the rug that has been exposed to water, we recommend hanging the rug to dry both sides evenly.

It is difficult to recommend a size since it would largely depend on how many steps there are on your stairs. However, we can suggest that you take a look at the video below. We recommend that the most suitable size for putting under a king size bed is 9' x 12'.

The fringe/tassel is not included in the total measurements. To find out about the tassel length, feel free to ask our representatives using the chat area or send an email to us.

Our rugs are shipped rolled up. Occasionally, we may need to fold items due to how large they are but this does not happen so often.
